To avoid duplicate backups of the same Teams content when you have both a Teams app and a SharePoint app in Commvault Cloud, you can enable the setting to skip Teams content on the Office 365 plan for the SharePoint Online app.
With this setting enabled, the Teams app backs up all channel data and document libraries, and the SharePoint Online app backs up entities such as lists, site assets, the preservation hold library, and so on, that are created from the SharePoint site.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.
The Plans page appears.

On the Office 365 tab, in the Plan name column, click the plan that you want to skip Teams content.
The Office 365 plan page appears.

In the SharePoint section, move the Skip backup of Teams content toggle key to the right.
Important
Disabling Skip backup of Teams content option to include Teams content will only protect new documents added after editing the option. To include the data which was skipped earlier, you will need to initiate a full backup for the site collection.
